Fall Show & 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebrations

Please join us for the 60th Anniversary festivities Saturday October 19th, 12-7pm in the Rental Sales Gallery.

There will be artist talks from noon to 4pm, with a champagne toast and party to continue from 5-7pm. We hope that you’ll be able to join us!

Come dressed in party attire! It’ll be sparkles, white, or cream for 60 years.

We are delighted to announce that there will be talks and demonstrations from the following member artists:

12-1pm: Sarkis Antikajian, Bill Baily, Patty Bentley, & Jon Jay Cruson
1-2pm: Gary Anderson, Janet Holt, Eva MacLowry, & Annie Meyer
2-3pm: Sidonie Caron, Jenny Joyce, Joan Metcalf, & Michael Schlicting
3-4pm: Wayne Chin, Pam Greene, Eileen Kressel, & Erik Sandgren

The Rental Sales Gallery, Portland Art Museum recognizes and honors the Indigenous peoples of this region on whose ancestral lands the museum now stands.

These include the Willamette Tumwater, Clackamas, Kathlemet, Molalla, Multnomah and Watlala Chinook Peoples and the Tualatin Kalapuya who today are part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, and many other Native communities who made their homes along the Columbia River.

We also want to recognize that Portland today is a community of many diverse Native peoples who continue to live and work here. We respectfully acknowledge and honor all Indigenous communities - past, present, future - and are grateful for their ongoing and vibrant presence.
